I truly believe in the healing power of connection and expression that counselling provides and I feel a deep passion and dedication for working therapeutically with people. I believe that my role as a counsellor is not to fix or give advice, instead I am here to be alongside you in whatever you are going through and provide a relationship where you feel understood, accepted and valued.

My qualifications
I am a fully qualified counsellor and a registered member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society which means you can be sure I work ethically and responsibly. I am fully insured and have an up to date DBS check.
I have a Level 5 Professional Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling Practice. I am also working towards the Person-Centred Experiential Counselling for Depression qualification; this is an evidence-based, NICE recommended psychological therapy used within the NHS.

My experience
I have worked with people experiencing a range of issues such as depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, grief and loss, low self-esteem, traumatic experiences including childhood abuse and historic domestic abuse, and life changes and transitions. I work with adults 18+ and have worked with people from a variety of backgrounds.
I particular specialise in women’s issues having worked as a counsellor at a women’s centre. Prior to being a counsellor I worked in support worker roles in mental health and substance misuse.
